History

Club Coffee started in down-town Toronto in 1906 as a partnership between Mr. Fairley and Mr. Winstanley. It was managed by the Fairley’s until sold to Standard Brands as part of their Food Service division. Standard Brands added Mellocup Coffee, Becharas Coffee and Mojabo Coffee to the Ontario based company.Club Coffee went through the Standard Brands, Nabisco merger, acquired Anthos Coffee in 1985, and were part of RJR-Nabisco until being sold to Nestle Canada Inc in 1987. At that time, we became part of the Nestlé FoodServices division along with the Goodhost, R.B.Hayhoe and Neates Coffee through the ‘80’s.

Club Coffee remained part of the Nestlé FoodServices division until being sold to Morrison Lamothe Inc. as of February 1st, 2007.

Morrison Lamothe Inc. is a private, professionally managed company that has been manufacturing food products since 1933. They excel at developing and manufacturing great products for private label and branded customers.

Club Coffee is now once again a focused, standalone coffee company.

Capitalizing on its long standing reputation as the leading, high quality, custom coffee roaster to the Canadian Foodservice industry, Club Coffee has now expanded its focus to include the United States and both the foodservice and retail sectors.
