Grounds For Health

Why Grounds for Health?  In developing countries cervical cancer kills more women than any other cancer.  Over 80% of newly diagnosed cervical cancer cases live in these areas.  Most have never been screened and many are diagnosed too late. Yet cervical cancer is easiest cancers to detect – and cure when caught early.  Women in developing countries are no more susceptible, they just don’t have access to screening. Our Grounds for Health coffees will generate funding to assist in the expansion of screening and educational programs in developing coffee countries.  This simple and cost effective program will be locally managed and help prevent this cancer. Our Grounds for Health coffees are representative of the coffee growing regions of the world and provide a variety of taste profiles and roast colors.  The coffees are:  Mayan Coast; African Safari; Inca Trail; Indonesian Gold and a Swiss Water Decaffeinated coffee. With each bag of Grounds for Health coffee sold, Club Coffee will donate 50¢ to the Grounds for Health organization.  Please look for these coffees – enjoy the unique taste from each region – and support this cause. For additional information on the Grounds for Health organization and their projects please visit their website at www.groundsforhealth.org
